+Honda-powered McLaren to rival Porsche 911?


Motor Trend is making an interesting supposition by saying McLaren and Honda could join forces to launch a Porsche 911 competitor.

There are some chances of seeing McLaren's next model powered by a Honda engine taking into account the Japanese company will provide engines to the McLaren F1 team starting 2015. As a reminder, during the period when Mercedes-Benz had a majority stake in McLaren, the SLR came out.

It is believed McLaren's upcoming entry-level model (due in 2015) will use a detuned version of the engine powering the MP4-12C, but what if it will get a Honda mill?
